Our craft
From a family workshop in Jodhpur
Rajghoomar begins in Jodhpur, India's furniture and handicraft export hub, where our family has run a manufacturing workshop for years. Jaipur is where we handle the export side — the paperwork, the packing standards, the shipping. Between the two cities, a piece goes from raw timber or quarried stone to a crate on its way to you.
Four crafts, four places
Carved wood is Jodhpur's craft — solid hardwood worked with chisels, not moulds. Blue pottery belongs to Jaipur: a quartz-based ceramic, glazed in cobalt and turquoise, that contains no clay at all. Marble comes from the Makrana belt, the same white stone used in the Taj Mahal. And rugs and dhurries are woven by hand on looms in Rajasthan's weaving villages.
How we work
We keep batches small and stand behind what we ship. Each product page names the material, the technique and the region it comes from — and where a piece is made to order, the lead time is stated up front. Prices include international shipping duties, settled at checkout, so there are no surprise fees at your door.
