How we work

Buying a quantity, a custom size, or a piece made to your own drawing works differently from adding one to the cart. Here is the whole path.

  1. Browse the collection

Every piece is selected workshop by workshop across Rajasthan's craft clusters.

  2. Send your enquiry

Tell us quantities, sizes, finishes and the destination country. No account needed.

  3. We quote you

You get a written quote with landed cost, lead time and payment terms before anything is made.

  4. Approve and we make it

Production starts on your approval, and every piece is inspected before it is packed for dispatch.

Questions we get asked

The things buyers ask before their first handmade order.

Is everything really handmade?

Yes. Every piece is made by hand in a Rajasthan workshop — carved, thrown, glazed or inlaid by a person, not a machine. We select pieces workshop by workshop rather than running a factory of our own.

Why does my piece look slightly different from the photograph?

Because it is a different object. Wood grain, marble veining and glaze all vary, and a hand-painted line is never twice the same. We photograph a representative piece; yours will share the design and the dimensions, not every marking. This is the nature of handmade work, not a defect.

Can I order a custom size, a custom finish, or a larger quantity?

Yes — that is the enquiry route rather than the cart. Tell us what you need and where it ships, and you will get a written quote with lead time and payment terms before anything is made.

Is the blue pottery safe to eat or drink from?

Treat every blue-pottery piece as decorative unless its product page says otherwise. Where a piece has been confirmed food-safe, we state it explicitly on that page. If the page is silent, do not serve food from it.

How do I look after it?

Care instructions are listed on each product page, because they differ by material — sheesham, Makrana marble, quartz-glaze pottery and bone inlay all want different handling.

Can I return something?

Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to start a return. Made-to-order and engraved pieces are the exception, since they cannot be resold — the product page says so before you buy.
